Department of History was established in 2013.

Vision

The Department of History aspires to be a global leader in interdisciplinary research, education, and community engagement at the intersection of history and tourism. Through our innovative programs, collaborative research initiatives, and commitment to ethical and sustainable tourism practices, we seek to inspire future generations of scholars, practitioners, and responsible travelers to explore the world with curiosity, empathy, and respect for the past.

The Department of History is dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of the past while simultaneously exploring its relevance and impact on the tourism industry. Through rigorous academic inquiry, experiential learning, and community engagement, we aim to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical awareness necessary to navigate the complexities of historical interpretation and tourism management.
