About the Department
The Department of Education was established in 2013. The Department of Geography serves as a comprehensive hub for students aiming to build a successful career in the field of Geography, offering a blend of academic rigor, practical experience, and professional development opportunities.
The Department offers full-time B.A./B.Sc. (Regular), M.A. (Regular), and Ph.D. with specialization in Geomorphology, Remote Sensing and GIS, Gender Geography, and Rural Development.

To become a well-known and reputed centre for learning and innovation in Geography, where students achieve all-round development and are aware of spatial organizations such as space, location, and association. This motivates them to contribute to sustainable development and make a positive difference in society through education, research, and community outreach programmes.
