Message of the Vice Chancellor

I welcome all students who wish to be a part of the intellectual fraternity of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University and contribute to its endeavour towards academic excellence. We are constantly striving towards carving a niche in higher education by offering multidisciplinary learning opportunities and instilling the students with core competencies of the 21st century.
The University now entering in the ninth year of its academic journey, has achieved several milestones. The language courses of the University in Urdu, Arabic, Persian, Hindi, English, Sanskrit and French enrich the cultural milieu of the country and promote intercultural research and learning. Apart from languages, we offer plethora of learning opportunities to our students ranging from high demand courses in arts and humanities to highly skilled and professional ones in science, commerce, management, education, legal studies, media, engineering and technology. Keeping skill acquisition at the core of its teaching learning pedagogy, the University offers a variety of certificate and value added courses focussing on skill development, problem solving and employability. To enhance our placement and training initiatives we have also established ‘Awadh Incubation Foundation’ in the University to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives of the students.
The global pandemic brought a massive transition from classroom teaching to integrated, ICT enabled learning through digital platforms and innovative pedagogies were used by the teachers to make learning engaging for the students. During the pandemic, the University teachers contributed massive e – content to the U.P Higher Education Digital Library and also launched a YouTube channel which hosts video lectures on diverse subjects for the students. The University continues to offer blended learning opportunities with seamless navigation between online and offline mode. The University has also launched its Learning Management System (LMS) named ‘KOPAL’ to facilitate and streamline online academic activities.
The University aims at establishing a transparent, fair, responsive and efficient academic environment that fosters accountability among all stakeholders. Several sustainability and social outreach activities are organised on regular basis to enable students use their learning into productive solutions for socio–economic problems. The NSS and NCC wings of the University coupled with the cultural committee also organise programs and activities that harness the feeling of harmony, community connect, ethical values and citizenship among the students.
All activities of the University are aimed towards facilitating and empowering the future generations by supporting collaborative initiatives, promoting multidisciplinary research and strengthening their technical competence.
With above words, we again welcome you and wish you all a bright future ahead!
